Why Not Petites seems to have a unique and supportive approach to the fashion industry. Could you tell us more about the inspiration behind the creation of this platform and what motivated you to bring together petite models?
Thank you so much for including us! Honestly it definitely started out as wanting to create something for models that I didn’t have growing up. This industry can be so harsh, pitting you against the other models and making you feel very secluded. I wanted to create a safe space for models to get to know each other and support one another and through that, being a petite model myself, I really wanted to create a space to show that petite models can model you just have to find the right support system. That’s how Why Not Petites came about and it’s growing in the way that we are letting the community decide where we go next and I’m excited to let them take the lead.
